The original Theater Task Force started 2023. A Board member resignation and task force member resignations left one member along with a Board liaison.

Prior to member resignations a Resident forum was held to gather comments from residents regarding the theater. There were four main requests:

  1. A place to set things down and cup holders
  2. No sofa(s) – individual seating was desired
  3. Easier/friendlier room and electronics control
  4. Additional seating if possible.

The Board did not follow resident suggestions, instead adding loveseats vs. all individual seating. The entire Board chose to not hear the task force member and residents request by approving loveseats favored by a Board member.

While this project has been completed and nothing can be changed, it serves as an example of how the Board will ignore resident, task force or committee input and recommendations for their own preferences.
